Ah well. Was a good day anyway! Matty the crazy scot on the kona stinky was there as usual lol. We opened up the wallrides and later on the forestry guys came and told us that the reason they are closed is because the forestry commission think that the U bend one might be too much of a dangerous feature, and everytime people open it it gives their bosses more ammo to say f*ck it and just tear it down! So yeah, best we don't open it.. if we want it to stay that is!

I did the whole thing on a friend's Gary Fisher hard tail haha. Yeah it's all sick! Lots of uphill bits though, ended up pushing the bike a lot of the way lol.

Haha yeah I was pumping and going fast and everything, but got hardly any air! They're like slight upward gradients haha.

I almost ate it on the last step up of the 4X track lol. Was bombing it down but didn't expect the gap to be as big as it was, front wheel clipped the very top but made it over...thank god haha.

You ever done the Phoenix trail?

Mabie was sick! Did the 4X track a couple of times and thought it sucked haha, especially the 'dirt jump' line!!

Ended up doing the Phoenix Trail (17km!) which was epic! I had such a good fall lol.
